Colors in web design

Posted by admin in Web design

Colors play a very important role in the design of a web site. Poorly chosen colors may impede the implementation of the basic objective of a site, whatever it is. Do not underestimate the choice of color.

Some sites are complete chaos in this regard. They are filled with all kind of colors, colorful and bright, it grabs your eye. Well we can not focus on everything. This way you just do not emphasize anything. Imagine one sentence and one word in it is red. It will grab your attention, right. If every word, however, was a different color and just one of them is red, then no word will grab your attention.

The color is a powerful weapon in web design. It should be used to achieve the objectives of the site. With brighter colors and with more contrast you should direct users to the proper action that they must take (buying something, signing up for something or other).

You should not use too many colors. For example, it is a good idea to use one more vivid color for things that will be emphasized, and two in pastel for the rest of the site. Naturally, other number of colors can be used. You decide. Provided that the objective of the site is achieved.
