User friendly web design

Posted by admin in Web design

Have you thought about the design of your site and if it is user friendly? Surely you thought about the look of the site, but that is not the most important thing. Indeed, consumers are much more important to be able to easily enjoy the site and to know what is where. But why is this so?

Today’s Internet users easily lose interest and love things easier and faster. Ie do not expect that some cares a lot about your site. To you it may be the world but for them it is just another site. If they visit your site for some reason, do not think that it is always for a big purpose or that they even searched for this thing, that you have. For a second you can lose them. That is why you need to have a user-friendly web site design.

When the user enters, for about one second, he considers your site in his mind. Builds a first impression. Responds to bright colors and movement. If he does not found literally in a few seconds what he want, he clicks the back button and look elsewhere – there are many sites. If your site is piled with information, pictures, animations, bold text, bouncing and moving things – it is very likely to totally confuse the visitors and drive them out of your site.

When making the design of a web site on the one hand it is good to use something unconventional, but in terms of convenience – it is not. In the minds of the internet users is a picture of a site and they are instinctively already accustomed to. Menu on the left, logo above, basket or cart of online store to the right, the links are underlined and others. The more new ideas you use, the more you lose convenience.
